I have been coaching for the past 6 yrs. My philosophy for coaching aside from a genuine love for the sport, is being able to instill and influence the youth towards greater success not only in sports, but life! My specialty in coaching are full-court presses, fast breaks & transition basketball.
Currently attending SUNY Sullivan and is the active captain at the Sullivan Generals Men's Basketball Team. "What makes me unique is my ability to understand the players on the court due to the fact that I am currently playing college basketball. I believe I understand the process of developing different skills." Coach Nasheed has been a coach of the LI Heat basketball for the last two years and lives by the philosophy, "Work hard on and off the court. Learn from every workout, practice or game. Give it your all!"
I am a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook University. I began coaching in 2016. I believe that hard work will always prevail over talent. An emphasis on selflessness with a devotion to playing strong defense will render positive results for the team. Hand down man down!
